Friends! What’s up? In this post I’m going to tell you how I was called names. The fact is I’m 185 cm tall (my father is 196 cm and husband is 192). As you may suggest, at school I was labeled some funky names, such as “giraffe”, “Ostankin’s TV tower” and even “turtle” (for the other reason)... That time it was really abusing for me to hear these callings from some of my classmates. I had something like inferiority complex, I tried not to buy any shoes with heels more than 2 cm. Later, after I made it into universities, I joined some model courses and got a bit new look and vision of myself. Being very tall, I was still buying high heels (more than 15 cm) and felt great. Once I was on a casting for a contest, where other girls applauded me at the moment when the person checked my height and said it aloud. I was impressed and may be even proud. Now I prefer comfort shoes, mostly with flat sole, but I don’t have any bias against heels for special occasions. People still keep on asking me if I was a basketball player or a model. No-no-no! I’m afraid of flying balls! As for modeling, my measurements weren’t ideal at all: 98-71-98, and, it was really surprising to me, 185 cm is too high for fashion industry. Girls from fashion runways usually aren’t higher than 181 cm. To sum it up, after getting to know these comedowns about fashion, I came up with an idea of being who I actually am without pretending to be someone else. By the way, the attached song is a feast for the ears :)
